The British International School Shanghai, Puxi is a non-selective international school that welcomes children aged from 18 months to 18 years to a very well-appointed campus with a wide range of specialist facilities for primary and secondary pupils. The school offers all the key elements of the National Curriculum of England with the additional benefits including a wide ranging modern languages provision and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Year 12 and 13 students.
In recent IB Diploma results, the class of 2013 achieved record breaking diploma pass rates and individual subject scores. The average IB Diploma score was 35 points - over five points above the world average. One student achieved a very impressive 44 points to secure his place at Oxford University, with a further seven students gaining Diplomas with more than 40 points.
