The British International School Shanghai, Puxi

The British International School Shanghai, Puxi is passionate about education and the role it plays in enabling young people to embrace the challenges ahead of them and be active contributors to the global society in which their futures lie.

Led by Mr Kevin Foyle and supported by Vice Principal, Mr Stuart White, the British International School Shanghai, Puxi, has created an educational philosophy that focuses on high performance for all students.

The British International School Shanghai, Puxi is a non-selective international school that welcomes children aged from 18 months to 18 years to a very well-appointed campus with a wide range of specialist facilities for primary and secondary pupils.  The school offers all the key elements of the National Curriculum of England and Wales with the additional benefits including a wide ranging modern languages provision and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for our Year 12 and 13 students.

In recent IB Diploma results, the class of 2012 produced fantastic results. At the British International School Shanghai, Puxi, the average IB Diploma score was 34 points – four points above the world average, with five students achieving scores over 40 points – a global mark of real excellence and two scoring 45 out of 45. Only 109 students around the world of the total of 120,000 who took the IB Diploma matched this score.
