ALAN KELSEY
CHAIRMAN
Alan was appointed to the Board in November 2003 and became Chairman in January 2005. He has over thirty years’ experience in the City and industry, more recently in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and WestLB Panmure. He has been an investment analyst, corporate broker, and investment banker and held a number of senior management posts. He was Group Corporate Development Director at National Express Group PLC, where he was one of the executive directors and was a non-executive director at PD Ports PLC where he was the senior independent director.
ANDREW FITZMAURICE
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Andrew joined Nord Anglia as Chief Executive Officer in April 2003 from easyCar.com where he spent three years as Chief Executive. Prior to that Andrew spent thirteen years at TNT Express UK where as Divisional Managing Director, he was responsible for an £80 million turnover business and for the creation and growth of new companies. Andrew is an Economics graduate form the University of Wales, Cardiff.
DAVID SMITH
GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
David joined Nord Anglia on 1st September 2007. David is a Chartered Management Accountant with considerable financial and management experience in progressive businesses. He was Finance Director of Hardys and Hansons plc from 1999 to the sale of the business in 2006. Previously, he was Group Finance Director of Blacks Leisure Group plc and prior to that was Senior Vice President at Speedo International . His early career included a number of financial management roles with Fisons Pharmaceuticals.
ROSAMUND MARSHALL
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Rosamund joined Nord Anglia as Director of Outsourcing (now Learning Services) in November 2002, following a long service career with Sodexho (UK) Limited. Rosamund worked in a senior management and director capacity for fifteen years with Sodexho’s education sector, with responsibility for support services to over 1000 schools, colleges and universities across the UK. Since joining Nord Anglia, Rosamund has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and was appointed to the Board in July 2006.
ALASDAIR MARNOCH
NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Alasdair was appointed to the Board in June 2006. A former officer in the Parachute Regiment and a qualified accountant, Alasdair has held a variety of senior finance roles including directorships at Thames Water and Dunlop Slazenger. Most recently, as Group Finance Director, he played a leading role in the financial rescue of Jarvis plc. He is currently Group Finance Director at Xafinity Group.
STEPHEN HENWOOD
NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Stephen was appointed to the Board in January 2007. He has held senior finance and management roles with a number of companies including, most recently BAE Systems Plc. He joined BAE Systems in 1992 initially in a financial role but subsequently has held a number of senior management positions, most recently as Group Managing Director with responsibility for International Partnerships. He has wide commercial and financial management experience gained in a number of overseas markets including the Middle East. Stephen is a non-executive director of Saab AB and is also Chairman of NP Aerospace, a management buyout supported by the Carlyle Group.
