Sport

Healthy minds in healthy bodies. Sport is an essential part of school life.

We like to encourage our very youngest students to take part in simple games to build their team skills. They’re also stretched mentally and physically in gymnastics and dance. We introduce Early Years students to the martial art of aikido, which we’ve found teaches them breathing techniques and helps with concentration. Everyone takes part in swimming lessons.

The main sports we offer are netball, basketball, football, badminton and volleyball. Secondary students try trampolining and indoor climbing. Occasionally, skiing features on the GCSE course.

Our sports teams are doing well, with the football teams winning the local schools tournament regularly and our netball team triumphing in last year’s Nord Anglia Education tournament. At the moment, our Secondary volleyball and basketball teams are gearing up for the Key Stage 4 Nord Anglia Education tournament.

Extra-curricular options include floorball, fencing and more. There’s always something sporty going on for students to get involved with.
