Organisational Improvement

In August 2008, the Learning and Skills Improvement Service commissioned us to manage its high profile Subject Learning Coach Programme.

The programme we’ve developed helps Further Education (FE) providers to implement whole organisation approaches that will improve the quality of the teaching, learning and continuing professional development they offer.

Our team of 9 regional advisors are the eyes and ears of the programme, making over 100 visits each month to FE colleges, work-based learning providers and offender learning services. The local, bespoke and targeted support they offer is highly valued by the programme participants.

Over 200 Further Education teachers are currently training to become Advanced Learning Coaches. We offer face-to-face training as well as custom-built online support and expert mentoring.

We’re also helping practitioners to support each other. Our series of collaborative events is attended by over 900 people each term. They’re the ideal place for practitioners to get to know each other with a view to offering peer support as they improve their organisations.

We’re helping Further Education providers to improve their organisations as a whole.
