Change of Group Finance Director13 August 2007The Board is pleased to announce that it has today appointed David Smith as Group Finance Director of the Company, with effect from 1 September 2007, in succession to Stephen Hyde. David, 51, is a Chartered Management Accountant with considerable financial and management experience in progressive businesses. He was Finance Director of Hardys & Hansons plc from 1999 to the sale of the business in 2006. Previously, he was Group Finance Director of Blacks Leisure Group plc and prior to that was Senior Vice President at Speedo International. His early career included a number of financial management roles with Fisons Pharmaceuticals. Stephen Hyde, Group Finance Director, will be leaving the Company on 31 August 2007 to pursue other opportunities. We would like to thank Stephen for his commitment and contribution to the Company since his appointment in 2005. The Board takes this opportunity to wish him every success in the future.
