Appointment of Chief Operating OfficerNordAnglia Education PLC26 July 2006 NORD ANGLIA EDUCATION PLC ('Nord Anglia' or 'the Group') Nord Anglia Education is a leading provider of education, training and childcare with three distinct operating divisions - International Schools, Learning Services and Nurseries The Board of Nord Anglia is pleased to announce the appointment of Rosamund Marshall, currently responsible for the Group's International Schools and Learning Services divisions, to the Group Board as Chief Operating Officer. This appointment is with immediate effect. In her new role Rosamund, aged 47, will be responsible for the operating performance of all three divisions of the Group, reporting directly to Andrew Fitzmaurice, Group Chief Executive. Since joining Nord Anglia in 2002, Rosamund has overseen the successful retention, renewal and award of new contracts by the Learning Services division. In February 2006, she additionally assumed responsibility for the Group's fast-growing International Schools division. In view of its plans for a significant expansion of the Group's activities, particularly continued expansion of the International Schools division in the Far East, the Board believes that this is an appropriate time to appoint a Chief Operating Officer. Nord Anglia confirms that there are no matters requiring disclosure in relation to paragraphs 9.16.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority Alan Kelsey, Chairman of Nord Anglia, comments: 'I am delighted to welcome Rosamund to the Board, following her four successful years with the Group.
