Notifiable InterestThe Company was notified on 18 August 2004 that Hermes Focus Asset Management Limited, Hermes Investment Management Limited as general partners of the UK Small Companies Focus Fund (SCFF) and Hermes SLP Limited, as at 16 August 2004 had a notifiable interest in 3,016,977 ordinary shares in the Company representing 8.02 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. These shares are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Ltd.The Company received notification on 18 August 2004 that as at 17 August 2004, Devon County Council by virtue of its relationship with Hermes Focus Asset Management Limited (UK Small Companies Focus Fund), Ram Trust Services, Inc. on behalf of its clients as an investor in the Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund and Essex County Council Pension Fund, as a limited partner in the Hermes UK Smaller Companies Focus Fund all have a notifiable interest in 3,016,977 ordinary shares representing 8.02 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. The Company was notified on 18 August 2004 that The Trustees of The BT Pension Scheme, BriTel Fund Trustees Limited, as at 16 August 2004 had a notifiable interest in 3,253,565 ordinary shares in the Company representing 8.65 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. 70,000 of these shares are currently on loan and therefore the net holding of BriTel Fund Trustees Limited is 3,183,565 representing 8.46 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. Of the above mentioned shares, 3,016,977 representing 8.02 per cent of the ordinary issued share capital are by virtue of its interest in the Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund. The Company was also notified on 18 August 2004 that Royal Mail Pensions Trustees Limited, Possfund Custodian Trustee Ltd, as at 16 August 2004 had a notifiable interest in 3,166,305 ordinary shares in the Company representing 8.42 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. 65,000 of these shares are currently on loan and therefore the net holding of Possfund Custodian Trustee Limited is 3,101,305 ordinary shares representing 8.25 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. Of the above mentioned shares, 3,016,977 representing 8.02 per cent of the ordinary issued share capital are by virtue of its interest in the Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund. The Company also received notification on 18 August 2004 that as at 9 August 2004 Lincoln Assurance Limited´s holding in the Company was 1,505,125 ordinary shares representing 4.00 per cent of the issued share capital of that class. |
