BOARD CHANGES38342Kevin McNeany, the Chairman and founder of Nord Anglia Education, has today informed the Board of his intention to step down as Chairman at the company's Annual General Meeting on 14 January 2005 to pursue other business interests.
Sir David Trippier, the senior Non-Executive Director of Nord Anglia Education paid a warm tribute to Kevin McNeany. He said: "Kevin's entrepreneurial skill founded this company in the first place and his vision and drive ensured its success. Those of us who have had the privilege of working with him know of the excellent contribution he has made to the growth of the Company and are anxious to acknowledge the debt of gratitude we owe him."
The Board has agreed to the appointment of Mr Alan Kelsey as the new Non-Executive Chairman of Nord Anglia from 14 January 2005. Mr Kelsey currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and as Chair of the Audit Committee.
