Nursery Occupancy Update38477NORD ANGLIA EDUCATION PLC('Nord Anglia', 'the Company' or 'the Group') In its trading update on 8 April 2005, Nord Anglia Education PLC (LSE: NAE), the education, training and childcare company, undertook to provide a further update on occupancy levels within its Nurseries Division. The Company therefore announces that the three month sales and marketing campaign, which closed on 29 April 2005, has generated 614 (net) new full time equivalent pupils (FTEs), in aggregate. This represents an increase of 6% in overall occupancy levels since the start of the campaign. Nord Anglia also notes recent speculation regarding its banking arrangements. The Company is in constructive discussions with its principal lenders regarding an amendment of the terms of its banking facilities to address the Group's trading issues and the Company is confident that a satisfactory resolution will be reached. As recently announced, Nord Anglia´s interim results for the six months ended 28 February, 2005 are expected to be released towards the end of May.
