Appointment of Managing Director, Nurseries Division38642The Board of Nord Anglia, the education services provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Cashmore, aged 35, as Managing Director of the Group's Nurseries Division, with effect from 15 November 2005.Mr Cashmore spent the previous ten years with the RAC. For the last three he was employed as Managing Director, Corporate Services, responsible for transforming the financial performance of the division (turnover in excess of £100m) through the deployment of a sales-led marketing approach. Corporate Services was a multi-location business, employing almost 500 people, and responsible for growing and managing the provision of Inspection Services to the RAC's members, as well as developing links between the RAC, motor manufacturers and fleet contract hire clients. At Nord Anglia, he will be responsible for running the largest of the three Divisions within the Group, comprising 101 nurseries, currently trading under the Princess Christian, Jigsaw and Leapfrog brands. This business is the market-leading provider of nursery care in the UK.
