Jobs4uIn July 2008 we were appointed by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) to maintain their Jobs4u database www.connexions-direct.com/jobs4u The Jobs4u database contains information on over 800 occupations. The project consists of updating the job profiles within the database and also populating it with new case studies of real people undertaking the different occupations featured in the database. The information is aimed at young people and their advisers, and the database is designed to help them generate careers ideas that might suit them. It also allows them to learn more about the different occupations that they might consider. Each year we add over 400 new case studies to the database. Our experienced management team ensures that the finished articles are delivered to the DCSF’s web host in monthly batches and that the different contributors: in-house writers, freelance writers and editors and the Sector Skills Councils, meet their deadlines and deliver according to their specifications. Regular meetings are held with the Young Peoples’ IAG Services Team at the DCSF to report on progress and keep them assured that we are meeting the contract requirements. Your Contact |
