Attendance

Our curriculum is very full so it is essential that pupils attend school every day and arrive punctually. We ask that pupils should not be removed from school for extended absences unless absolutely necessary.

  • Lateness: Pupils arriving late for school should register in the Late Book kept at the school's reception desk.
  • Absence: Pupils should bring a note explaining absence for class teacher/tutor, or parents can leave a telephone message. For extended absence, please complete the ‘Absence Request’ form available from the school office.

Break times

Primary pupils are supervised during all break times and are expected to play outside, weather permitting. Nursery to Year 2 children are provided with a healthy snack. KS2 children are expected to bring a healthy snack for their break times.

Secondary pupils, with the exception of IB students, are supervised during break times. They may go outside, use the dining room or auditorium steps.

Lunchtime

The school provides a cooked meal every day, this comprises a main course and desert. Salad, bread and fruit are available every day. The kitchen staff takes pride in their work and aim to provide an appealing and healthy meal. There is a vegetarian option each day. Parents are advised of the menu each week via the Newsletter. Payment is on a termly basis and parents are invoiced. Pupils may bring a packed lunch if they wish.
