Parent involvement
The best education is one that’s a partnership between home and school.
We’re always glad to answer your questions and listen to feedback. Your support is vital to the success of our school. You can get involved in a number of different ways.
Get involved in Primary
- Come to Pop-ins
- Join the PTA and attend the monthly meetings
- Be a class reader
- Be a mystery reader
- Be a bus supervisor
- Come in and do some cooking from your culture or country
- Come in and read a story from your culture or country
- Volunteer to accompany classes on trips
- Be brave and dress up as a Roman or a Victorian
- Help out on theme days
- Help cook the healthy snacks
- Help with making props for assemblies or productions.

Get involved in Secondary
- Music - Come in and perform for our students, particularly if you play a world instrument
- Art - Help prepare the Art exhibition in the garage in November
- CAS - Offer expertise in canoeing, climbing, charity work, fundraising or first aid
- Geography - Talk about your experiences of living in or visiting other countries
- MFL - Native/fluent speakers who can help with oral practice before examinations
- Work experience - Y10 work experience is 8th-12th June. Please get in touch if you would be happy to offer a place or help interview our students
- Business - Offer an industrial visit for GCSE students
- R.E. - Come in and give a talk on your faith to Years 7-9
- P.E. - We will be hosting the Nord Anglia sports competition in May and would welcome any logistical support
- Clubs - Straw bale building club would welcome anyone with links to local farmers
- Careers Conference - offer to be a speaker at this popular night.
