Uniform

Here at The British International School Budapest, we encourage our students to dress smartly.

We expect our students from Nursery to Year 11 to wear school uniform. Please make sure your child is smartly and correctly dressed and that all his or her uniform is clearly labelled.

We now have a new school uniform provider, ISUS Ltd. ISUS is a company run by two British ladies who have worked in the school uniform business for many years. There have been a few changes to the uniform. The old version will be acceptable for the school year 2009/2010 but after that, we ask all students to be in the new style. We have sample sizes available here at school and will publish detailed size guides.

The new school jumper is a lighter weight and there’s an additional, non-compulsory option of a school fleece. The school polo shirt is available in organic, Fair Trade cotton as well as polycotton. The PE kit will change to navy shorts and a white crew neck shirt. The new tracksuit will be a sporty blue style. It’s not compulsory.

You can buy online at www.internationalschooluniformsolutions.com . The shipment time is six working days and dispatch is via airmail or courier, depending on how much you order. We’re happy to help those who don’t have internet access.

Primary: Reception and KS1

  • Navy tracksuit trousers (optional)
  • Plain, practical black leather shoes for indoors
  • Shoes, boots or trainers for outdoors
  • No jewellery except stud earrings and those worn for religious purposes

Girls:

  • Grey pinafore, grey trousers or grey shorts
  • Yelow checked summer dress (optional)
  • Grey or white plain socks or tights

Boys:

  • Grey trousers or shorts
  • Grey socks

Primary: KS2

All:

  • White BISB polo shirt, short or long sleeved
