Welcome to The British International School Bratislava!

The school experience at BISB is an exciting and varied one which is characterized by different approaches to learning as well as traditional classroom methods; older students learn through the organization of and participation in conferences and subject forums, attendance at Model United Nations events, student Earth Summits, scientific projects and e-learning projects with other schools. Younger children explore their curriculum through Arts Week, Water days, local environmental work and creating their own ‘blockbuster’ films.

At the heart of our approach is the belief that children learn best by ’doing’ whether inside the classroom or on the many educational visits and activities outside the classroom. We have high expectations of all our students, in all aspects of their school lives, inside the school, at home and in the wider international community. We value creativity, kindness, teamwork and individual initiative.
