Secondary CurriculumOur secondary school is for students aged between 11 and 18. Our students study the English National Curriculum between ages 11 and 16 and then the A Levels from 16 to 18. Our secondary curriculum is split into three stages.
Our curriculum prepares our students for their role in an increasingly challenging, cosmopolitan and rapidly changing world. This is done in a stimulating, caring and supportive setting where academic excellence is balanced with opportunities for personal development. In a school comprising young people from some 50 nationalities, respect is a key theme - from and for the individual pupil and for diverse cultural backgrounds and belief systems. We aim for our pupils to develop as enquiring, creative, reflective and motivated learners. Our high-calibre teachers tailor their teaching to individual needs, to encourage all children to flourish, grow in self-confidence and, above all, to fulfil their potential. To this effect, an open partnership between home and school is actively encouraged. Careful assessment in the secondary school, linked to UK standards, allows us to be sure that everyone is reaching their potential.
