Secondary Curriculum

Our secondary curriculum is split into three stages.

• Key Stage 3 is for children aged between 11 and 14, and covers three school years.
• Key Stage 4 is for students aged from 14 to 16, and covers two school years.  At the end of Key Stage 4, students take external exams, called IGCSEs, across a range of subjects.
• The A Levels programme is for students aged between 16 and 18, and covers the last two years of school.  Students finish with an internationally acclaimed and recognised qualification, which allows access to the full range of universities across the world.

Our curriculum prepares our students for their role in an increasingly challenging, cosmopolitan and rapidly changing world. This is done in a stimulating, caring and supportive setting where academic excellence is balanced with opportunities for personal development.

In a school comprising young people from some 50 nationalities, respect is a key theme - from and for the individual pupil and for diverse cultural backgrounds and belief systems. We aim for our pupils to develop as enquiring, creative, reflective and motivated learners.
