Outstanding Key Stage 3 ResultsAt the end of Year 9, our students have excelled in their studies and are exactly where they should be compared to UK averages. In Maths 81% of our students achieved a grade of Level 5 or above. According to 2010 UK national average results, only 79% of UK students achieved similar results. And 56% of our Maths students achieved Level 6 or above, which is an outstanding achievement. In English 67% of our students achieved a Level 5 or above, and 15% achieved Level 6 or above. This is very impressive considering that for many of our students English is their second language. In Science 84% of students achieved Level 5 or above and 44% achieved Level 6 or above. There were similar results in ICT where 74% of our students achieved at Level 5 and above and 15% achieved at Level 6 or greater. These students will now move into Year 10, having chosen their individual pathways for GCSE, and these results demonstrate they have a very sound foundation for success.
