Step 1 – APPLY AND PROVIDE ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS

To apply for admission to The British International School, Abu Dhabi, we require:

• a completed Application Form
• original school reports from the previous year of school
• original transfer letter from student’s previous school
• original child’s birth certificate
• original child’s passport
• original child’s UAE residency visa
• original parent/guardian passports (father and mother)
• original parent/guardian UAE residency visas (father and mother)
• five (5) recent passport size photograph for each child
• medical vaccination records/history for each child
• copies of any health and/or psychological assessments conducted with the child
• scan copy of your Family Book (for UAE Nationals only)
• full names and two (2) recent passport size photos for each parent/guardian who is authorised to collect the child from school (for ID badge)

Your application will be reviewed and you will receive a written response from the admissions office within 2 weeks.

For online applications, scanned copies of documents may be provided, however original documents must be received before the student may attend classes.

Step 2 – ACCEPT YOUR OFFER

You will be made an Offer of Enrolment, usually via email.  Please accept your offer before the due date and pay your non-refundable AED500 deposit.  This guarantees your place and ensures your child will start without delay.  Offers are contingent upon the completion of all outstanding documentation; no student may begin classes until all documentation is completed.

Step 3 – PAY YOUR TUITION FEES

Once your application has been accepted and registration/deposit paid, you will receive an invoice for tuition fees.  Fees may be paid for the full year or on a termly basis. See the Schedule of Fees for more information.

Purchase your uniforms, request bus services (optional), purchase lunch vouchers (optional) and get ready for your first day of school.
